Well, I owe another apology to my friends at Elm Creek Elementary School. I told you I would write about all the fun we had at your Reading Night, then I had computer problems. Anyway, I finally got things fixed and was able to write about all the fun we had on November 16 at your school.
I couldn't believe how many families came out for our reading event! You had such a big crowd. It made it very exciting. I could tell you were having fun, because you had a lot to say. I thought you did a wonderful job with the tongue exercises and tongue twiters with "Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum" by Lisa Wheeler. But you made a mean sounding Wolf in "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs" by Jon Scieska.
I hope you had as much fun as I did. I thought it was great that your school gave out books and even had games for you to play too.
I hope you keep up all the good work with your reading. You promised!!
By the way, I found out some really special kids were sick that night (I think they are related to the Principal somehow?) I sprinkled lots of magic all over your school, so you'll have lots of good books to read. Maybe we can meet in person sometime.
Happy Reading!
