Wow, I had such a great time on Friday, October 22 at your school. I heard we had about 175 moms, dads, and kids there to have fun at the Early Childhood Literacy Night. What could be funner than talking about reading, reading books, eating delicious cookies and lemonade? PLUS, every single family taking a free book home!! ![]()
I wanted to list which books we read, in case you wanted to check them out of your library and read them again. (I never get tired of reading good books.) Here they are:
"The Amazing Pig" by Paul Galdone
"Alice the Fairy" by David Shannon
"Princess Pigsty" by Cornelia Funke, illustrated by Kerstin Meyer
and "The LIttle Red Hen" from "Eight Favorite Fairy Tales" by Lucy Cousins
You guys did a great job of talking like a king, and making the animal sounds, and just being great listeners!
I hope you keep up all your hard work. I would love to hear from you, so write me if you get a chance!
Happy Reading!
