The Book Fairy

I have been so busy, I haven't had time to write.  I went to the Houston Street Fair in San Antonio, Texas and my picture was even in the paper!  I feel so FAMOUS now. Take a look at my picture: BookFairy.JPG  I had a great time and met a lot of readers.  I met some really neat children's writers from the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).  They had some children's authors there with their very cool books, plus they were making magic books. 

I was back at the Texas Book Festival on October 28.  I got to meet so many wonderful entertainers like the Storybook Theater (they did a great story about the City Mouse and the Country Mouse - a Classic!).  Mr. Johnny and Sharon were there too, I love their music and fun games, go to Mr. Johnny.com for more info about his great program.  Plus, I got to meet Laura Freeman who is a great musician and sang a song about PURPLE!!  She even has a CD with a song for each different color.

It was so much fun.  AND I met some of my friends had I met before.  One particular little girl, I had met at her birthday party and she was there!!  I love it when friends come and say hello.

I hope to see you soon.  I'm going to be visiting Park Village Elementary School in San Antonio this week and in a few weeks, I'm going to MacArthur Park Church of Christ for their Tiny Tots program.
