Hello to all my reading buddies. I have to tell you that my magic works really well with books, but NOT so good with computers. I have been having problems with this website of mine. If you have visited before you will see that a lot has changed, plus I'm still working on getting it going. I want you to know that I've been really busy, so that's why I haven't posted any info in a while.
See you soon and Happy Reading!!

I'm super excited about getting to come visit Leakey, Texas!! I hear it is close to one of the best rivers in Texas. I can't wait to get there and meet all of you. I sure hope everyone is at school on MONDAY so I can meet you and give you some of my magic.
We are going to have fun and talk about some crazy things like POTOTO BRAINS!!! Yes, I said potato brains! I sure hope you don't have one of those...I'll have to find out on Monday.
I can't wait to meet each of you and tell you how I became The Book Fairy, then maybe we'll have time to read some of my favorite books.

I am so excited because I've been invited to be a part of the Fairytale Fiesta at the Witte Museum. This is a member only event, and we are planning some super fun reading and activities for all the kids attending. We'll have fun reading books, and we are even going to write our own fairy tale!! I hope to see a lot of my friends there, and I know I will make lots of new friends too. The event is coming up on April 16. See you there!

Hello to all my new friends at Wilshire Elementary School in San Antonio! I had so much fun with all the Pre-K classes and the PPCD and ALE classes. I was so excited to come to your school and meet all of you :). The pre-K and I had a good time reading one of my favorite books. I hope it is one of your favorites too. You did a great job helping me read "I Love You Stinky Face" by Lisa McCort. I got to read "Bubble Gum, Bubble Gum" by Lisa Wheeler to the Special Ed. students and it is really a fun book too.
I hope you all keep up the good work you are doing of learning your letters and learning to read. Remember, even if your mom or dad or big brother or sister read to you, it will help your brain become a super strong, super fast monster trunk brain! No couch potato brains at Wilshire!

I had such an amazing time yesterday at your Book Fair and reading event!! Weren't there so many great books? I really enjoyed getting to know you. I had so much fun reading with you, and getting pictures with you. And weren't the crafts really cool? You are so creative, you did a great job.
Never forget that we are working on getting super strong, super fast monster truck brains. I want each of you to be super smart, so keep on reading with mom, and dad, and your brothers, and sisters, and cousins, and your teacher, and your librarian and ANYONE else who will read to you. You can never read too much. (Then you can play a game and see who remembers all the parts of the story the best!)
I enjoyed coming to your school and getting to meet each of you.

I wanted to say Hi to you. I'm so excited because I am going to be visiting your Book Fair on November 13 (that's a Wednesday). I can't wait to meet each of you. I hope you will come. We are going to read some great books together, and then do some fun crafts. Plus, if you want, you can get a picture with me! AAAANNND, I'll be giving everyone there some of my magic!!
All the fun will start at 4:00 after school, and you don't want to miss any of it. The Book Fair will have lots of amazing books and other cool stuff that you can buy to take home with you. I just love Book Fairs, don't you? They are almost as fun as the library, and there are so many BRAND NEW books to read!
I'll see you soon. I can hardly wait!

I have been so busy since last spring, I've had little time to write! I enjoyed all my visits to the Children's Museum, it is such a fun place. I hope you get to visit there sometime. This past summer I visited MacArthur Park Church of Christ's Reading Camp again. They have some great readers!! Plus, I heard from one young man who told his grandmother to stop playing games on her iPad, and get a book to read instead! Way to go, that's the way to get a monster truck brain. Keep up the good work. I hope all my friends who are going to school have a great year.

Hello to everyone at Bob Lewis Elementary! I had a great time reading with each of you today. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. Here is a list of the books we read. We didn't have time to read through every one, so I hope you will take the time to check them out and read all of the books. I enjoyed the "Love of Poetry" theme and hope you did too.
I hope you remember to work on your super fast, super strong Monster truck brain, NO potato brains allowed!
