Hello to all my new friends! I had a great week reading with all of you. I loved the theme "The Dog Days of Summer". It was great reading a lot of dog themed books PLUS learning about friendship, loyalty and obedience.
It has been great to meet so many SMART kids ;). I was proud of all the hard work you did. (and all the fun wasn't too bad either). I hope you had a great week, made some new friends, and had a super good time! I think I liked the dog bone cookies the best, or maybe it was the reading, or maybe Fox in Sock tongue twisters, or... too much to write about.
Remember, reading is magic, it doesn't matter how much you do, you always get better every time you do it. I want all of you to have super fast, super strong monster truck brains, so KEEP READING.You did a great job this week.
I'll be sprinkling my fairy dust in all the libraries and bookstores I can find. I want you to have tons of great books to read. ![]()
Happy Reading!!

Hello to all my new friends at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas! I wanted to tell all of you how excited I am about getting to come to your great event. It looks like you guys (and girls) are really smart!! :D How many people spend some time on Saturday doing something super fun like a reading fair?
I think it is wonderful to do something like this on Memorial Day weekend. What better way to remember all the men and women in our military who have served our country? It's because of them we have the freedoms we do, such as reading whatever we want, super libraries, and great schools. It takes really brave people to keep our country the great country that it is today. We don't ever want to forget them.
I hope you all have a great summer and remember to READ, READ, READ. There are lots of great prizes at the library and bookstores for those of you who read . If you aren't reading yet, get one of your parents or a big brother or sister to read a book with you.
I'm so glad I was inivited to your event and that I got to meet you.
I hope to see you soon.
Happy Reading!!! ![]()

Hello to all my new friends at the Holy Spirit Catholic School in San Antonio, Texas. You have a great school. I had such a good time reading with all of you. I was so sorry that one of the kindergarten classes had to leave early and missed out on the bookmark magic. Maybe we will meet again another time!
I hope you liked all the books that we read. You guys made great apes and alligators! And the first and second graders were ALMOST as good as I am at Fox in Socks tongue twisters. ![]()
Remember your promise to read over the summer! NO couch potato brains when you get back to school. Finish the year strong and have a great summer break.
Happy Reading!!

I just wanted to say to all my friends at the Somerset ISD Early Childhood Center. I had a great time on Friday reading with all of you. That was a huge rain storm wasn't it? I was glad we were inside and dry and having fun, even if it was rainy.
I hope you liked all the books we read. Here are the titles and authors in case you want to read them again:
Yoo Hoo, Moon by Mary Blocksma, Illustratred by Petience Brewster (wasn't that cat the funniest thing you ever saw? I can't believe he slept through all the noise!)
I Love you Stinky Face by Lisa McCourt, Illustrated by Cyd Moore
Four Fierce Kittens by Joyce Dunbar, Illustrated by Jakki Wood ( you guys made some great farm animal sounds.)
Animal Go Round by Johnny Morris
I hope all of you keep your promise to read over the summer! Remember: NO COUCH POTATO BRAINS! Work on those super strong, super fast, monster truck brains.
It was great to meet you. Hope to see you again soon.
Happy Reading!

Hey, there to all my friends at St. Gregory's Catholic School in San Antonio. I had such a great time at the 10TH anniversary of your Family Literacy Night. Wasn't it fun when Ms. Gonzales-Bertrand read everything going on 10 years ago? Some of you weren't even born then! And did you see the cool wood carved giraffe on Ms. Lupe-Flores table?
It was so cool to hear from all the authors! Plus I learned some cool stuff about San Antonio history and presidents that I didn't know, Ms. Stier rocks! I couldn't decide who to vote for president, but I am all for putting Roller Coasters on the playgrounds!! I guess roller coasters are as close as you people get to feel to really flying like we fairies do.
Hi to all my friends in Ms. Adeeko's class. You guys rock and I'm sorry I forgot to give you a shout out last night. BUT HERE IS MY SHOUT OUT: GREAT JOB! I love all the comments you have posted and I'm glad you had fun wtih the web poll.
You all keep reading, get all those cool prizes from the summer reading programs at the Library and Barnes and Noble and Borders and ......so MANY to choose from.
You guys promised me that you would be good readers, so I'm going to be checking in your library to make sure you are keeping good on your promise. You have tons of good books to read, and I've sprinkled my fairy dust all over your school, just to make sure you never run out.
Did you notice my St. Gregory's poll about the author's who visited? I hope you take time to vote.
HAPPY READING!!!!!! ![]()
